A statement issued by the Planning Committee Chairperson, Dr Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi and Sina Adefolahan (Secretary), disclosed that the renowned veteran journalist has given his consent to be physically present at the event.
Speaking during the Journalist Hangout Programme on Television Continental (TVC) on Sunday, Osoba, a renowned journalist and former Editor and Managing Director of Daily Times Newspaper, said Governor Sanwo-Olu has done so much in Lagos State and based on his performance he deserved to be voted for en-masse on Saturday.

The meeting was convened by Chief Bisi Akande, a former APC National Chairman and former governor of Osun and Chief Olusegun Osoba, a former Ogun State governor.
According to an invitation letter, those invited for the meeting include former Lagos State Governor and Presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, former National Chairmen of the APC, Dr John Oyegun, and Adams Oshiomhole, former Adamawa state Governor, Murtala Nyako.
Osoba made the suggestion when two former Military Administrators of Ogun State: Commodore Kayode (retd) and Colonel Daniel Akintonde (retd), paid him a courtesy call at his private residence in Lagos.
