The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress on Sunday officially named Dr. Obafemi Hamzat as the running mate of Babajide Sanwoolu, its governorship candidate for the 2019 election.
Senator Anthony Adefuye, a member the council, announced the endorsement to party members on Saturday, at a stakeholders’ meeting at the ACME Road state party secretariat.
Their names were part of those released by the party on Thursday as “Cleared” or “Not Cleared” for the party’s primaries coming up on Saturday

Sanwo-Olu made the statement at Lagos City Hall while speaking at the formal launch of his governorship bid.
