Browsing: Gross misconduct

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Speaker of the assembly,  Dennis Guwor, announced the suspension at plenary in Asaba on Tuesday.

This followed the release of a video showing  Umar and a member of his entourage assaulting a security guard. LAWNAC said Umar’s action amounts to gross misconduct and must be addressed to safe guide the image of the judiciary.

The suspension was announced on Tuesday in Ilorin by Dr Musa Abdullahi, the Acting National President of the association, at a Special National Congress held at the University Auditorium.
