Onyeama will be speaking alongside Abdulawaheed Odusile, former President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and West African Journalists Association, now Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ogun State, and a member of the African Union Labour Migration Advisory Committee, Dr. Princess Asie Kabuki Ocansey, from Ghana on June 22 and 23.

Minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, said at a meeting with some envoys that Twitter’s operations in Nigeria will be restored only if the platform can be used “responsibly.”

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the president had on April 30 and May 4 met with the same security chiefs and heads of intelligence community as part of ongoing critical engagements meant to provide solutions to security challenges in the country.

According to a statement by the Deputy Director (Information), Abiodun Oladunjoye, Onyeama spoke on Sunday in Abuja at a send-off dinner organised in honour of Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to the State of Qatar, Ambassador Yakubu Ahmed, who is also the outgoing Director of Protocol (DOP) at the State House.
