The Christian Association of Nigeria has decried the slow pace of work on the Agbara – Seme section of the Lagos – Badagry expressway, describing the condition of the road as “pathetic”.

Following the expiration of the seven-day abatement notices served on the owners of illegal shanties and traders along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, the Lagos State Government on Tuesday commenced the cleanup exercise along the road.
The Chairman of the Agency, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, while addressing owners of these illegal structures/traders at different spots warned them to immediately vacate all road setbacks and walkways within the stipulated date given to them by the government.
No fewer than two persons and five vehicles were burnt on Wednesday morning at Barracks Bus Stop, along Mile 2 on Badagry Expressway after a 33,000 litre fuel tanker fell and exploded.
