The remains of the mother of Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, Hajiya Sarafa’u, have been laid to rest in his hometown, Radda in Charanchi Local Government Area.
The mother of the governor died in the early hours of Sunday in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja at the age of 93 during an illness.
The funeral prayer was led by the Katsina State Chief Imam, Gambo Mustapha, at about 4:36pm at Radda Central Mosque.
Dignitaries who attended the funeral prayer included Governor Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa, and Katsina State Deputy Governor, Faruk Lawal-Jobe.

Others were the Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Yahaya, and the state’s Head of Service, Alhaji Falalu Bawale.
Others included the Emirs of Katsina and Daura, Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir-Usman and Alhaji Umar Faruk-Umar, and religious leaders, among others.
