The Lagos Police Command on Thursday held what was termed an emergency stakeholders meeting with the leaders of the Oodua People’s Congress, led by its National Coordinator, Otunba Gani Adams, and other vigilante groups.
The meeting was targeted at putting in place solid plans to combat incessant kidnapping and cultism attacks in the Ikorodu axis of the state.
Those said to have been present at the meeting apart from the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force in Ikorodu area and Adams were the New Era leader of the OPC, Rasak Arogundade; and Onyabo leader, Kamorudeen Bombata.
There were also other vigilante group leaders in the area at the meeting.
