Paul Pogba has reportedly passed his medical ahead of his world record transfer to Manchester United
According to reports, the club are set to officially announce the move on Tuesday after the medical checks passed without incident.
The French international midfielder left Nice, France on Monday morning and arrived at Carrington around midday to finalise his move from Juventus.
He is set to become Jose Mourinho’s fourth summer signing after Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Pogba could be in line to make his second debut for the club he departed in 2012 against Bournemouth in United’s first Premier League match.
United announced on Sunday they had agreed a deal with Juventus and that Pogba had been given permission to undergo a medical. It is understood the fee is around €105 million – £89 million – rather than the £100 million that had previously been reported.
It will make Pogba the most expensive player in the world ahead of Gareth Bale, who joined Real Madrid from Tottenham for £85 million in 2013.
