The remodeled Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State was on Wednesday inaugurated by former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar.
The stadium, which had become run down, was remodelled by the Administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Among guests who attended the inauguration apart from Abubakar and Makinde were the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki; former Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu; and former Military Governor of old Oyo State, General David Jemibewon (retd).
