Super Eagles’ combative midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi has rejected SS Lazio of Italy new deal. The EagleOnline can report.
The player, according to reports from Italy was offered 600,000 Euros, an equivalent of N2billion to remain at the club until 2019. The Serie A side also included a buyout clause of 10 million Euros in the contract.
But negotiations for a renewal have stalled at the moment as the club is yet to meet up with the player’s demands.
The biancoceleste are expected to respond to Onazi’s demand in a short time, but the Nigerian footballer has asked for time.
The midfielder is demanding for 1.5 million euro (N3.9billion) to stay at the club.
The player was in the past linked with a move to Sunderland, Liverpool and Manchester City.
