Super Eagles’ and Chelsea of England defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has commenced light training at the West London club after recovering from a shoulder injury.
Omeruo, fresh off a shiny new work permit and shoulder surgery, is back in light recovery training and expected to join full training in a few weeks.
It can be recalled that the Chelsea-based youngster, who is yet to know his fate at the club, suffered a relapse on a shoulder injury he suffered at the Confederations Cup before he could even train with the senior side.
He is however determined to impress Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, and fight for a place in the club’s first team.
This explains the Super Eagles defender’s delight at the successful surgery and his anxiety to bounce back into action.
The 20-year0old spent last season at Dutch side Ado Haag on loan and is yet to know whether he will be shipped out on loan again or will feature in the plans of Mourinho.
