The Chairman of the Copyrights Society of Nigeria, Chief Tony Okoroji. and Kennis Music boss, Kehinde Ogungbe, were recently embroiled in a war of words in Lagos State over money issues.
Okoroji was said to have confronted Ogungbe that he was owing COSON some money on Friday at the Grand Ball Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria-Island, Lagos, where both were among the panel of speakers at a forum.
Okoroji’s statement, it was learnt, did not go down well with Ogungbe and this almost led to a physical confrontation but for the prompt intervention of people around, who reportedly separated the two heavyweight entertainment gurus.
Kenny questioned: “How could you make such a statement in the public?”
Unprintable words were said to have been freely used during the fracas.
Other people at the event included Sound Sultan, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Weird MC, Amaka Igwe, Frank Iweke Jnr and MI amongst others.
