The Commissioner, Ogun State Police Command, Abiodun Alamutu, has reiterated his commitment to clamp down on all notorious criminal elements in the state.
He made this known at a press briefing held at the Ogun State Police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the state capital.
Alamutu stressed that despite the increasing security challenges facing the state, the police determination to fight crime remains unwavering.

Highlighting the reasons for the briefing, Alamutu noted the challenges and success recorded by the Command as well as the various cases with ongoing investigation.
He further said that the briefing was to “keep the public abreast of trending crimes and modus operandi of criminals so as not to fall victim of their antics.”
The Commissioner however called for “the support of the press, the public and all stakeholders in creating a safer environment where everyone can prosper and live without fear.”
