The management of the National Youth Service Corps scheme has approved the appointment of a new State Coordinator for Imo state.
She is Josephine Bakare, who was a deputy director at the NYSC Printing Press in Lagos before her new posting.
Ugochukwu Orunta, NYSC Imo office Public Relations Officer, made this known in a statement in Owerri on Sunday.
He said that Bakare has vast experience in public relations and brand management.
He said that the former coordinator, Olugbodi James, has completed his tenure and retired from service.
Orunta said: “It is expected that the new coordinator will bring her wealth of experience to bear in her new position and further promote corps members’ welfare.
“She is also expected to deepen the already existing relationships with the state government and other stakeholders.”
