Few days after Stephen Keshi was relieved of his plum job as Super Eagles Head Coach, the Nigeria Football Federation is set to unveil a foreign coach for the national team.
The President of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick, revealed this on Tuesday in London.
Pinnick said the deal regarding the new foreign gaffer had been wrapped up and the coach will be unveiled on Friday.
He however declined to reveal the name of the coach and his nationality.
He promised that football loving Nigerians would be happy with the choice of the NFF.
His words: “We have wrapped up everything about the coach who will take charge of the Super Eagles.
“It is a done deal and all things going as planned, the identity of the new coach will be made known to Nigerians
“I won’t tell the name of the new coach nor will I tell you the country he is from but what I will tell you is that we have a new coach for the Super Eagles.
“The man we are hiring is good and with quality.
“Nigerians will appreciate our choice by the time we reveal the new coach.”
