The Chris Giwa-led faction of the Nigeria Football Federation is at present meeting in Abuja.
The meeting, according to inside sources, is holding in one of the posh hotels in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to available information, the factional members plan to storm the headquarters of the NFF, popularly known as the Glass House, after the meeting and take over leadership.
A source within the faction told The Eagle Online that they are aggrieved that no one is paying attention to them even when they are legally recognised.
The source said: “It is unbelievable that these people are carrying on the way they are doing.
“Amaju Pinnick feels he has control of everything.
“He feels he has the backing of the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Barrister Solomon Dalung, hence he behaves as if he owns the whole world.
“Can you see how they are even humiliating Giwa with the happenings in the Nigeria Professional Football League, suspending, banishing and imposing heavy fines on his team?
“After this meeting, we will know who is who.”
Sources further told The Eagle Online that the faction will be aiming to profit from the reduction of security operatives at the Glass House.
Only few policemen are now at the NFF headquarters in Abuja.
This was unlike when the recent crisis broke out and there were several riot and regular policemen on duty at the Glass House.
