The Super Eagles arrived in the Tanzanian capital at 12am local time, which was 10pm Nigerian time.
The team, which flew directly from Abuja, was made up of a 102-man contingent.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Musa has emerged the stand-in captain of the Super Eagles.
This follows the absence of Captain Vincent Enyeama.

Enyeama had earlier written the NFF and the coaching crew of the Super Eagles to excuse himself from the game in order to attend to what he called pressing family matters.
Musa has said only an outstanding victory will be good enough for the Super Eagles in the encounter.
The Coach Sunday Oliseh-tutored team is billed to train on Friday (today) at 4:30pm local time in Tanzania, which is 2:30pm in Nigeria.
