The News Agency of Nigeria has resumed full editorial and administrative operations at its UN office in New York, United states of America, a statement said on Tuesday.
The statement issued by the Acting Editor-in-Chief of the Agency, Ado Lawal, in Abuja, said a correspondent, Sadiya Hamza, resumed duties on Monday.
It said that Hamza had been fully accredited by the UN Media Relations Unit.
“The UN Media Relations Unit has already accorded all necessary rights and privileges to her,” it said.
The management of NAN, under the new Managing Director, Ima Niboro, has expressed gratitude to the UN Media Office for its support, the statement said.
