The remains of Olubukola Kupolokun, the wife of former Nigerian National Petroleum Company boss, Engineer Funsho Kupolokun, has been buried in Lagos.
The late Mrs. Kupolokun was committed to mother earth last week Friday at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The calibre of Nigerians who converged at the wake at the Lagos City Hall spoke volume of the eminence of Kupolokun’s family.
She was laid to rest after a funeral service at the Bishop Adelakun Memorial Anglican Church, Surulere, Lagos.
Her husband and children – Yetunde, Odunayo, Oluwole and Oluwakemi – all wept.
You could feel and touch their grief as they bade their mother and wife goodbye.
The deceased, aged 63, was said to have had an unsuccessful battle with cancer, which later took to her to a London hospital before she breathed her last on June 29.
She was married to Kupolokun for 36 years.
