Super Eagles number one choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, has promised to keep a clean sheet in the match Day One World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
Ikeme made the promise in a brief chat with The Eagle Online before the team’s departure for Ndola, Zambia, venue of the match, on Saturday morning.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the team to beat Zambia.
Ikeme told The Eagle Online: “We are set for the match.
“I can vouch on behalf of the team that we are set to defeat Zambia.
“On my part, I am also in a frame of mind that will not let in even one goal.”
