Mike Tyson has revealed he used his baby’s urine in order to pass drug tests during his heavyweight career.
The 54-year-old, who returns to the ring this month against Roy Jones Jr, battled a serious drug addiction in his prime.
He has admitted to fighting while under the influence – and was forced to come up with bizarre ways to avoid being caught.
Tyson has previously said he used a fake penis – a Whizzinator – which allowed him to “pass” clean urine.
And he has now admitted he often used his baby’s urine as he was worried his wife’s would show he was “pregnant”.
“It was awesome, man,” Tyson said. “I put my baby’s urine in it and sometimes, one time I was using my wife’s and my wife was like ‘Baby you better not hope that it comes back pregnant or something’.
“And I said ‘We ain’t going to use you any more, we’re going to use the kid’, because I got scared that the p*** might come back pregnant.”
Tyson and Jones have both enrolled in drug testing for their exhibition fight in Los Angeles on November 28.
And the former “Baddest Man on the Planet” is ready to extend his career beyond his meeting with Jones Jr, including a trilogy fight with former bitter rival Evander Holyfield.
“That’s always something that we can do if the people want it, if it’s pragmatic enough, I’d love to do it,” he said.
“I don’t want to stop at this one event. There are big superstars out there who are my status or more who want to get involved with this stuff.
“I’m grateful for my health, and I’m grateful to be in this physical state just to be doing this. I’m grateful that I have good people around me. I’ve been sober for the last three years. It’s why I got involved with this boxing stuff.”
