Gov. Akeredolu appoints Deputy Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief Press Secretary

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has approved the appointment of Donald Ojogo as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Governor.
Segun Ajiboye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, disclosed this in a statement in Akure on Monday.
Ojogo, a seasoned journalist, attended University of Lagos, where he obtained Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in History and Strategic Studies.
Ajiboye said the new Deputy Chief of Staff started his journalism career in the Guardian newspaper.
He added that Ojogo worked in other media houses such as the Nigerian Tribune, Daily Independent, Leadership and New Telegraph.
Ajiboye said: “Between 2007 and 2009, Ojogo also served as Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State. Until his appointment, he was a Senior Technical Adviser (Policy/Media) to the Minister of State for Agriculture.”
The statement also announced the appointment of Leke Akeredolu as the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, and Augustine Pelemo as Special Assistant on Political matters in the office of the governor.
Ajiboye said Bayo Olomu was appointed the Special Assistant on Special Duties, while Samuel Ogunmusi bagged the post of Personal Assistant to the governor.
Ajiboye said that all appointments took immediate effect.
