Four staff of a new generation bank on Thursday died from the flooding that accompanied a heavy downpour in Onitsha, Anambra State, News Express is reporting.
According to the online newspaper, the bankers died in Ogbo efere area, along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
News Express said the car the deceased were riding in was swept off the road into a big gutter, which was filled with flood.
The deceased, three of whom were identified as Eby, Uju, Ezenwa, were said to be working at a bank branch in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.
