Players of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Borno State have been paid their full sign on fees for the ongoing Glo Premier League season.
According to the club Chairman, Zannah Mohammed Mala (Kakaje), the players have also been paid all their match bonuses and salaries.
Mala said: “You see, we have paid our players their financial entitlements up to date, so they are the ones indebted to the state government to do their best.
“We are the only club that has paid 100 per cent sign-on fees this season.
“On behalf of the management and players of El- Kanemi Warriors FC, I wish to thank the governor, his deputy and all the good people of Borno State for their support to the team so far.
“We will keep on fighting to the end of the season.
“And by the grace of Allah, we will end up with a continental ticket.”
