Nigeria’s Lucky Omeruo has failed in his bid to sign a deal with Ado Den Haag Football Club after several weeks of test at the Dutch Club, The Eagle Online can report.
The attacking midfielder made a good impression during his trials in Holland, but ADO Den Haag refused to burn to the rules with which the talent can count on a high salary as players from outside the European Union must receive a minimum of 550,000 euros If they are under 21.
“This kind of player will not pay us,” admits ADO Den Haag coach, Maurice Steijn.
Lucky Omeruo, younger brother of Super Eaglers stopper, Kenneth, played for 45 first half minutes in a pre-season friendly against FC Oss on July 10.
The teenager is currently on the books of domestic side, Bayelsa United.
