The woman whose son was seen some years ago in a viral video, pacifying her to ‘calm down’ has reportedly committed suicide.
A X user (formerly Twitter) posted this Wednesday.
The post simply reads: “The woman featured in the viral ‘Mummy Calm down’ video has sadly taken her own life here in Benin.
“She chose to suffer in silence, leaving behind three children for her husband, including the well-known ‘Mummy Calm down’ boy.”
The late woman reportedly left three kids behind.

Recall the popular ‘Mummy Calm Down’ video gained traction some years ago when a young boy was captured pleading with his mother, apparently frustrated with the socio-economic situation then, pleading his mummy not to punish him.
