The abducted Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism Lawal Yakubu has regained his freedom.
Yakubu, who was kidnapped on Monday, it was confirmed was released around 5:30pm Friday.
Although his captors have demanded for N100 ransom, while the family was pleading with N3.5m still, it is not confirmed yet, whether the sum was paid or not, before he was being released.
Recall that Yakubu was kidnapped in front of his residence at Nasarawa Eggon local government area.
Meanwhile, the State Police Command spokesman, DSP Ramhan Nansel, has confirmed the release.
He however said no ransom was paid.
