Super Eagles’ gaffer, Stephen Keshi, has declared that Norwich loanee, Joseph Yobo, must work hard to make the final 23-man squad for the Brazil 2014 World Cup. According to the AFCON 2013 winning coach, Yobo was recalled because he has recently come back to form, warning however that his recall to the team does not guarantee a World Cup place.
Keshi said: “He played well against Manchester City, which I watched but he must be consistent and we pray he should be in good health.
“Those are the attributes we want in all the players that will go to the World Cup.”
Yobo so far in two games for the Premiership side has showed some flashes of making an impression if he is selected for the Mundial in Brazil.
The former Everton star last featured for the Super Eagles in February 2013 when Nigeria won the Nations Cup in South Africa.
