Coach Imama Amapakabo has been officially unveiled as the new manager of the Nigerian top-flight team, El Kanemi Warriors.
The former manager of Enugu Rangers was unmasked to the public on Tuesday in Maiduguri after he signed his contract.
The former Sharks and Enyimba coach replaces former Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso, who guided the side to a sixth-place finish in the immediate past Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Amapakabo’s two assistants will be Shaibu Suleiman as goalkeeper coach and Ernest Eziwo as assistant coach.
The duo worked with him at former Nigerian champions Enugu Rangers.
Prince Anthony Obaseki, an official of the Maiduguri landlords, said the new manager is excited with the opportunity to work with the side and promised to deliver the goods at the appointed time.
