14 Nigerian pilgrims die in Mecca

Fourteen Nigerian pilgrims have died in Mecca, Saudi Arabia performing this year’s Hajj.
This information filtered in just as the accommodation challenge facing the Lagos State continent to the Holy land was said to have been resolved.
It was learnt that the 14th pilgrim to die was a part of the Lagos State continent.
His name was given as Taoreed Oshodi and he has since been buried.
Meanwhile, Lagos State finally solved the accommodation problem facing its pilgrims.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Oyinlomo Danmole, revealed this on Friday.
Danmole said that the state government has secured another hotel to house the remaining 28 pilgrims.
He said the state government has done everything possible to ensure the success of the operations.
While assuring that the welfare of pilgrims remain paramount, Danmole promised a rewarding Hajj exercise.
