Former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Mondaydescribed the Minority Leader, Leo Ogor, as a master of corruption.
Jibrin accused Ogor of running a ring of corrupt cabal in the lower Chamber.
A national newspapers had reported Ogor as saying that psychiatric tests should be conducted on Jibrin to ascertain whether he was not facing health challenges.
Ogor reacted to a media report credited to Jibrin, last week, alleging that the 10 principal officers of the House had collected over N10 billion illegally as “running costs” between 2003 and this year.
But, Jibrin in a swift reaction, said the Minority Leader is a master of corruption and will never forgive him for the selfless and onerous role he played at ensuring that Ogor did not emerge the Deputy Speaker.
He said Ogor is a specialist in hijacking committees and investigative hearing for fraudulent purposes.
Jibrin also described Ogor as an epitome of corruption in the House of Representatives.
He said the Minority Leader is the one that should visit the hospital and get his big belly filled up with fraud and bribes deflated.
Jibrin, in a series of tweets, said: “Minority Leader, Leo Ogor a known bully who has had 13 wasteful years in the House,he cannot believe someone is finally standing up against them!
“Ogor, epitomized corruption! is the one not me that should visit the hospital and get his big belly filled up with fraud and bribes deflated.
“Ogor, runs a ring of corrupt cabal in the House who specializes in hijacking committees and investigative hearing for fraudulent purposes
“Ogor threatens with violence and treats his colleagues like school boys and has remained a curse and part of the dark history of the House.
“Rather than Ogor to simply tell Nigerians what he has received if he disputes my figures, he has resorted to personal attacks on my person
“Leo Ogar is a master of corruption and will never forgive me for the selfless and onerous role I played at ensuring he did not emerged Deputy Speaker!”
Jibrin, whom the principal officers said was sacked for “abusing” the 2016 budget, had earlier on July 21accused Dogara, Lasun, Ado-Doguwa, and Ogor of padding the budget by over N40 billion.
