The 37-year-old Okoh emerged the sole candidate of the party at the governorship primary election at the ZLP secretariat in Asaba Wednesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the defectors were led by Busayo Olamigoke, a former ZLP Chairman in Ondo East Local Government area, who recently resigned from the party.
