The Consul General of Nigeria in Guangzhou, China, Wale Oloko, on Wednesday said that the Chinese Police authorities had commenced investigation into the death of a Nigerian, Unachukwu Nwajueze.

Oloko told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos that some
other Nigerians were also arrested for engaging in drug trafficking and
other criminal offences that had led to their detention.
Oloko told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos that it had been and would continue to be difficult for unskilled Nigerians to secure even menial jobs among the Chinese.
He said: “Guangdong Province is the hub of Nigerians coming to China and more Nigerians live in Guangdong than in any other Chinese province.
