The TraderMoni scheme, other Government Enterprise and Empowerment micro-credit products, a component of the Buhari administration’s Social Investment Programme are still very much in operation, the Presidency has said.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo , on Monday blamed the current poor state of the nation on certain ‘irresponsible” leaders.

President Muhammadu Buhari conceived the TraderMoni scheme way back during the years when he was the Chairman of the Katsina State Development Foundation, which gave soft loans and micro-credits to people to assist them in their respective businesses.

Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, on Monday, monitored the Tradermoni scheme in the state, targeted at assisting traders to boost their businesses.
