Otti said this on Thursday night during his monthly media parley with newsmen at the Government House, Umuahia, dubbed “Gov. Alex Otti speaks to Abians”.
Otti, who spoke on Sunday when he received in audience a former Governor of the state and Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu; and Senator Chris Adighije said the President’s economic policies, though painful at the moment, “are necessary economic decisions to fix Nigeria”.
The appeal was made by the Factional National Secretary, Alhaji Umar Farouk, during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday.

The suspended members included the party’s only elected governor, Alex Otti of Abia State, Senators Darlington Nwokocha and Ireti Kingibe, Victor Afam Ogene, Amobi Ogah, and Seyi Sowumi.
Otti spoke on Thursday when he received a delegation of the new State Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nnadi Wilfred, in Nvosi in the Isialangwa South Local Government Area of the state.

The development is coming barely three months after three commissioners resigned from his cabinet.
