A petition, addressed to Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, which was obtained by our correspondent, showed that on June 2, 2017, Godwin and three other policemen, namely Inspector Goodluck Osemwenyaru, Sergeant Ikponmwosa Teslyne and Sergeant Osaigbovo Elvis, were drafted to a duty post along Benin-Auchi Road, a volatile area at Okuo Village, to combat against the dreaded Fulani kidnappers who on daily basis had been terrorizing innocent citizens on the road.
