No fewer than 16 persons died on Friday evening when three vehicles collided at Tukai village in Dambatta Local Government Area in Kano State.
Kabiru Ibrahim, spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps told the News Agency of Nigeria in Kano that the accident occurred at about 08:15am.
The assembly had set up a special committee to investigate the conduct of the two members during the recent impeachment of the Deputy House Leader, Kabiru Ibrahim.
