The group made the call in an eight-point communiqué it issued at the end of a webinar conference themed: ‘The State of Yoruba Nation’, to mark its one year anniversary.
Speaking in one of the rallies held in Johannesburg, South Africa, the Secretary General of the apex Yoruba Diaspora Group, Dr. Sina Okanlomo, in his speech, said the Yoruba Diaspora group had since October 1,2020 made overreaching quest for an exit from Nigeria because of the glaring administrative inbalance of President Muhammadu Buhari in the last six years.
The apex Yoruba Diaspora group of about 174 socio-cultural organisations, said education and food security remains the fulcrum for effective social security in the region.
The coalition made the commitment during an international webinar conference attended by over 1000 participants from all over the world, who expressed their readiness to seek justice and liberty for the Southwest region.
