Funmilola Ojelade, the President of the Association of Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria (APWEN) gave the hint at the presentation of the cheque to the beneficiaries on Saturday in Abuja.
The women engineers also distributed learning materials to the students, gave them career talks, introduced them to Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects as a prerequisite to studying engineering as a course of study in the university.
The Managing Director, FERMA, Nuruddeen Rafindadi, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, said the partnership would advance the number of practicing female engineers in the country.
