Justice Aminu Bappa-Aliyu dismissed  the application for lack of merit and adjourned to Nov. 7, 2022 for hearing of the substantive suit.

Justice Inyang Ekwo granted the leave while delivering ruling in an ex-parte application argued by the lawyer to the group, Ugo Nwofor.

The petition, dated 8 October, 2021, was submitted to the FBI via the United States Embassy in Abuja and was received on the same day, according to an acknowledgement copy made available to the media by Nigerian representatives of the group.

Justice Ahmed Mohammed fixed the date, after counsel for the plaintiffs,   Akin Olujimi, SAN, applied for an adjournment and a date for hearing.
