Lazio could be looking to sell their midfielder, Eddy Onazi, in the summer after claims in Italy they are lining up a replacement for the Nigeria international.
Onazi’s agent this week spoke about a possible move to another club because of the lack of opportunities his client has been getting this season.
And these latest reports will put Swansea City and Watford on alert.
Reports have it that Lazio are interested in signing Catania midfielder, Moses Odjer, which is likely to result in Onazi moving on in the summer transfer window.
Odjer is currently on loan with Salernitana to get first team experience, and his performances for the Serie B side have brought him to the attention of Lazio.
The Serie A club are hoping their good relations with Catania will help them land the 19 year old, which could ultimately result in Onazi moving on.
Onazi has struggled to get games with Lazio this season, and has made just 6 appearances in all competitions.
Swansea City and Watford are aware of his situation at Lazio with claims that if either club were to offer in the region of €7 million they would be able to sign the Nigerian.
At this stage in his career Onazi needs to be playing regular first team football, and his dream of playing in the Premier League may come true in the summer.
