A suspended member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Thursday met behind closed door with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Jibrin had openly sought for private audience with President Muhammadu Buhari after his suspension for accusing the leadership of the National Assembly of corrupt practices.
He said he had evidences to provide to the President.
Jibrin, who is representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State, however, did not give details of his meeting with Buhari when cornered by newsmen.
He simply said the meeting was between “a son and a father”.
He said: “As you are aware, I have not seen the President for a while now.
“It was a meeting between a son and a father.”
