There’s no journalist, worth his salt, that does not love gossip!
As I was saying, before he could say anything, Baba Prince started lamenting, complaining and cursing all people who had been lying against his innocent wife.
Needless to say, Mike’s eldest cousin swallowed his words.
Then Iya Prince got pregnant for Mike. She told him she was ready to jettison her marriage, for him, if only he would tell her he loved and accepted the unborn baby.
Mike was ever ready to play ball and dribble on Iya Prince’s football pitch, but scoring was definitely not one of his intentions. He adamantly refused to accept the pregnancy, though Iya Prince claimed she had enough savings to rent them a room apartment.
When she realized Mike was not going to accept the pregnancy, she passed it to her mugu husband. She convinced him that they should terminate it since they were going through serious economic and financial wahala.
Though Baba Prince begged her to leave it, that somehow they would manage to accommodate another mouth, Iya Prince still went ahead to terminate it. Guess we now know who wears the sokoto (trouser) in the house.
You are probably wondering how the heck I got to hear and know all these? Well, you wouldn’t believe it….Mike is actually the broadcaster! Anything and everything that happened between him and Iya Prince, you’d be sure to hear it before the week runs out. He held her in derision and it pained me exceedingly that she was so blinded with lust that she couldn’t see.
Tired of the gossips, Baba Prince moved out of the area, going as far as Ayobo. He has declared war on his neighbours and street people. He refused anyone to know his new home, except his blue eyed boy, Mike!
Get ready for this…are you ready?…well, now is good as ever…he actually invited Mike to come over and spend a month with them. Oh boy, we heard it was marathon sex everyday between Iya Prince and Mike, once Baba Prince leaves for work.
Anyway, enough of the gist, the point I wanted to bring out is that anytime Iya Prince and Mike were balling, her kids would be crying and begging Uncle Mike to stop, thinking the lovers were fighting. Oh, the naiveté and innocence of a child’s mind!
This is finally my point.
Why would any reasonable mother carry on in that fashion in front of her kids? I can just imagine her…naked as the day she was born…Mike also naked, his manhood turgid and jutting, with all the veins standing on end…scaring the kids silly…he either rides her or she rides him.

Married women bringing lovers home is not common since the man of the house could walk in…this however does not mean that it doesn’t happen.
It is however more prevalent among single mothers. This is why I’m particular about them.
There are problems, issues with couples that live in one room apartment and make love, thinking their children are asleep.
It is however sad that this sort of setting, also gives room to incest! You’d find a six-year-old, mounting his four-year-old sister or neighbour’s daughter. It is prevalent in face-me-I-face-you buildings. May God save the children, Amen!
Even single mothers, living in a flat, still have to be careful. We know that single mothers are practically single ladies. The only difference is that they have kids, either from previous marriages or relationships. The kids not withstanding, these women tend to live their lives like single ladies. I mean, they change lovers.
Okay, say you live in a flat…you bring Uncle Jide today, take him into your room and he spends the night…a month or two later…you bring home Uncle Chukwumerijie…you take him into your room…he spends the night…and the changes continue…and you actually think it wouldn’t affect your kids? Please give me a break!
It’s even worse when you’ve groomed your child/children to start addressing one particular lover as Daddy, because you’re preparing them or you believe he will marry you. Then you have a fall out with him and take another lover and start grooming the kids all over to call the new guy Daddy. Haba! How many Daddies can an innocent child stomach, condone or understand?
This is definitely why most single mothers’ kids are always at loggerheads with their mothers’ lover. Many of these millennium kids know and are aware that the man balling their mother, everyday, night, probably afternoon, is not their father. Did I say afternoon? I don’t particularly enjoy balling in the afternoon, except it rains or the room has an air conditioner.
Even my four-year-old son, Michael, who is extremely young, feels things. Hey you just need to see him if a male colleague comes to visit me.
