Samson Siasia’s family members have sold off a landed property to facilitate the release of their mother, Madam Beauty Ogere, from the custody of her abductors.
The younger brother to the Dream Team VI handler, Demie Siasia, informed that the move was ensure their mother returns home safe and sound.
Demie’s words: “Since help is not in sight from the state government, the Presidency and the Nigeria Football Federation, we resolved to sell two plots of land at N600,000 as that’s the only valuable property we have.
“We are appealing to the kidnappers to release the old woman so that she can get some medical attention. They should have mercy on the old woman as she’s a common man like every other person.
“We have not been sleeping because we are anxious for her release as it is almost one week now that she has been taken away.
“We pray they take the N600,000 from us and let our mother return home.”
Demie, who is a trader in Bayelsa State, added that he is expecting to receive the kidnappers’ message any time soon.
He said the last time they called was on Saturday.
