Owner of Air Peace weeps as Nigerians from South Africa mob him + video

The Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, wept uncontrollably as Nigerians returning from South Africa mobbed him for joy.
The incident happened on Wednesday aboard the Air Peace flight that brought back the Nigerians fleeing from xenophobic attacks from South Africa.
Onyema had opted to bring back the Nigerians free of charge from South Africa.
Onyema, who spotted a black native attire with a red cap, was introduced to the excited Nigerians apparently after the plane touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
Upon sighting him, the returnees gathered around him, hugging him and then started singing in his honour.
At a point, he burst into tears.
For over 30 seconds, Onyema wept, hiding his face behind a white handkerchief he was holding.
Words of praise came his way from the excited Nigerians for his gesture.
So far, 187 Nigerians out of the 640 who registered for the return trip home had been brought back.
Onyema promised more trips to ferry the Nigerians home, at a great cost to his business at home.
The airline at home had to reschedule several trips, with some customers demanding for refund.
Conservatively, he may end up spending close to N1 billion to complete the exercise for the 640 Nigerians, aviation sources said.
