Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has sent a get-well-soon message to Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State, who is recuperating in a private hospital following an auto accident.
In a message by his Chief Press Secretary, Peter Okhiria, Oshiomhole, who described the accident as unfortunate, said: “On behalf of the people and government of Edo State, I wish my brother Governor, Captain Idris Wada speedy recovery from the unfortunate accident which claimed the life of his aide-de-camp.
“Even as we thank God for sparing the life of the Governor, we spare a thought for his aide-de-camp, who died in the accident. Losing such a close and trusted aide could be harrowing, however our hearts are with you, the immediate family of the departed and indeed the entire good people of Kogi State at this difficult period.
“As you recuperate on the hospital bed, we pray God to grant you the grace to come out stronger in body and spirit to lead your state to the desired destination.
“We also pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of your ADC and for God to grant the family of the departed the fortitude to bear the loss.”
