NFF resolves Alampasu’s contractual tussle

The Nigeria Football Federation has put to an end the dispute over Golden Eaglets, goalkeeper, Sunday Dele Alamupasu.
NFF’s arbitration panel headed by the Director of Competitions, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, ruled after three hours of deliberation that Abuja Football College gets 50 per cent, Future Stars Academy 35 per cent, while Alampasu and his dad were awarded 15 per cent from the player’s contract with any club side that is interested in him.
The panel went on to dismiss the four-year deal that the goalkeeper signed with with the Abuja Football College, claiming it is void and criminal to have a minor on such term.
Alampasu’s agent, Olusola Orelaja, who was at the meeting, said: “We are only interested in ensuring that this matter is resolved peacefully so that Alampasu can realise his dreams in football.”
The player’s father, Tomi Alampasu, was also in attendance at the meeting.
The UAE 2013 FIFA Under 17 goalkeeper of the tournament, was linked to Jupiler side, FC Genk.
