April 9, 2022 will forever remain memorable in the family of Olagoke Olatoye as he gave out his first daughter, Rachael, in marriage to Paul Fakorede, in Ilesa, Osun State.
The experienced newsman is a Deputy Editor-in-Chief and South West Zonal Manager of the News Agency of Nigeria.
NAN reports that the service for solemnisation of the Holy Matrimony between Rachael and Fakorede took place at Foursquare Gospel Church, Zonal Headquarters, Ilesa on Saturday.
Due to the personality of the father of the bride and his sociable, amazing and unique disposition to everyone he came in contact with, the church was filled to the brim.
Rev. Favour Aderemi, the District Overseer, Ayepe, Osogbo, who performed the solemnisation of the Holy Matrimony, advised the new couple to love themselves and ensure total commitment to God and each other.
Aderemi said: “I urge you to put God first in all you do in order to succeed and also ensure you live according to the dictates of the Holy Bible.
“Marriage is all about mutual understanding and I urge you to always show sacrifice to each other.
“I believe you both came from good a background and I hope you will hold fast to that which is good to the success of your marriage.”
In his remarks, Olatoye said that the wedding ceremony was a joyous moment in his family.
He said the wedding, which is the first of its kind in his family, had put an end to “delayed marriage” in his family.
Olatoye, who was full of joy, advised the couple to love each other and put God at the centre of the marriage.
He also thanked God and all his friends for their presence at the occasion.
Also, the family of the groom and friends of both families advised the couple to always live in peace, love, togetherness and above all they should be tolerant of each other at all times.
