Three Nigerian journalists have been arrested in connection with the killing of nine female polio vaccinators in Kano State.
The vaccinators were gunned down on Friday while on duty.
The arrested journalists work for Wazobia FM radio station, Kano.
They were alleged to have incited the violence following their airing of a programme, Sandar Girma, which content was anti-immunisation.
The Commissioner, Kano State Police Command, Ibrahim Idris, confirmed the development to newsmen.
Ibrahim said the journalists are to be charged for culpable homicide.
While two of the journalists are being held in custody, the third one has been questioned by the police and released.
