Four Nigerian youngsters have been handed call ups by England for this month’s European U21 Championship qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Switzerland.
The Nigerian players that made the cut include Wolvehampton’s Dominic Iorfa Jnr, Chuba Akpom (Hull City), Jordon Ibe (Liverpool) and Dominic Solanke (Chelsea).
With injury in the English side, Manager Gareth Southgate opted for Solanke, who is currently on loan with Vitesse Arnhem.
The striker previously impressed at U17 and U19 levels.
England travel to Sarajevo for their first Group 9 game on November 12, before returning to face Switzerland at the Amex Stadium in Brighton on November 16.
